Sydney’s Crown Towers Hotel: An Upscale Review from Luxury Lifestyle Magazine

Hotel Review: Crown Towers Sydney, Sydney in Australia

As an avid traveller, I have been fortunate enough to stay in some of the most luxurious hotels around the world. During my recent visit to Sydney, I had the pleasure of staying at the Crown Towers Sydney and was blown away by its opulence and hospitality.

Introduction

Located in Barangaroo, the Crown Towers Sydney offers the ultimate in accommodation and hospitality. From its infinity pool to the on-site spa and world-famous restaurants, this hotel redefines luxury for those seeking a special stay. With the lifting of all Covid restrictions and its vaccination policy to enter, Sydney is back in full swing, and the Crown Towers Sydney is a must-stay destination for those visiting the city.

Hotel

The hotel is situated just a short walk from many of the city’s most popular attractions and the newly opened harbour swimming location, Marrinawi Cove. The lobby is luxurious and welcoming, setting the tone for your stay. The property rises a staggering 275 metres above the ground, capturing Sydney’s style at its best. The interiors have been designed by London’s world-renowned company, Meyer Davis, while the exterior boasts the work of London architect WilksonEyre.

Room

The rooms at the Crown Towers Sydney are some of the most spacious and well-appointed in the city. Each room features a king-size bed, a large flat-screen TV, an iPod docking station, and a marble bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub. The views from the rooms are simply stunning, overlooking either the city skyline or the harbour. During my stay, I was treated to the Tower suite, which offered 110 sqm of pure opulence and a panoramic view of Sydney’s iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Food and Drink

The Crown Towers Sydney has an extensive selection of restaurants and bars, including the world-famous Nobu. The breakfast buffet at Epicurean is a real experience, featuring all your usual favourites plus a dedicated Asian breakfast station. For lunch and dinner, Epicurean offers an array of open kitchens that cook iconic international dishes, including fresh Australian seafood, fresh Japanese food, and a dessert area that will make you feel like a child on the set of Willy Wonka.

The hotel caters to dietary restrictions, and the staff were only too happy to come up with creative and tasty options. Nobu, the first for Sydney, combines the restaurant’s signature dishes with a view of the harbour.

Pool

The heated pool and spacious spa area offer private cabanas available for hire, making your swimming experience even more indulgent. The large pool also offers lush oversized pods to laze on while enjoying the pool side menu. Being in the southern hemisphere, Sydney makes the perfect winter escape from the UK when you’re dreaming of lazing by the pool with a cocktail in hand.

Gym

Crown Towers Sydney’s gym offers the latest in cardio and weights workouts. The gym’s expansive parquetry layout makes working out while away a relaxing experience. Private training sessions and fitness classes are also available, and the hotel boasts a tennis court.

Spa

If you’re looking for some self-pampering, the resort’s five-star spa is a must. The Spa Aqua Retreat is an excellent way to unwind after a day filled with spa treatments.
