AND WINNING THAT WAY, WHICH IS WHAT HELPS DRIVE INNOVATION, AND THAT’S WHERE WE GET INTO A PROBLEM. AS FOR THE NO HOMEWORK AND THE Fs, ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO, THERE WAS A REPORT OUT OF CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS THAT NOBODY COULD READ AT GRADE LEVEL, AND NOBODY COULD DO MATH AT GRADE LEVEL.
WE CALLED FOR A REPORT ABOUT THE COMMENT, AND THEY SAID WE ARE IN LINE WITH EVERY OTHER MAJOR URBAN SCHOOL DISTRICT. AS IF THAT WAS THE DEFENSE. SO I IMAGINE THAT CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS ARE NOT GOING TO DO MUCH BETTER UNDER THIS NEW MAYOR WHO IS REALLY TIGHT WITH THE TEACHERS UNION.

as a retired Coach, I agree on Banning "Participation Trophies" ! I let my team vote on accepting those at Tournament; they Voted against it. After the MVP accepted her trophy , the rest of the team "sat out" of participation trophy award ! Ironically, our Team Won "SPORTSMANSHIP" Award …with was the Largest Trophy of them ALL !! 🏆 👏
Kids know they are participation trophies, it doesn't help their self esteem. Humans are competitive, and even kids know who came first and who came last. Also I think it removes the motivation to excell.

The worst thing we did to the millennial and Gen Z generation was give them participation trophies. We told them they could be successful at minimal effort and now nobody wants to work. They all want to live in fantasy land and expect us to pretend with them.
Participation trophies are a bad idea.
Not only do they apply to only one of the facets that make the total child, they also taint the relevance of activities that do not hand out trophies.

If you assign homework, you need to grade it and have standards. The plantation is against the education of the people living there. You also disarm the servants and lock them up for minor crimes, but you normalize serious crimes and set them free to intimidate the community. Democrat policies are working as intended.

We moved from the west coast to the east coast years ago. My homeschooled kids tried public school in NC. They were appalled when they recieved "Closing The Minority Education Gap" awards- lol. (Our surname is Latino, which seemed to be a deciding factor.)
One more reason to home school your kids if like he said no homework no bad grades why send them there for what possible reason. There not going to learn anything
